is a
unique
programme
free
for
all
young
females
especially
those
of
African-Caribbean
or
mixed-race
heritage
aged
13-17.
Our
aim
is
to
raise
the
aspirations
of
girls
through
a
programme
of
activities
on
topics
such
as
self-esteem
&
peer
pressure,
body
image,
relationships
and
drugs
and
through
mentoring.

This

half-day
interactive
group
session
includes
topics
such
as
Relaxation
techniques,
Exercise,
Healthy
eating,
Communicating
with
family,
friends
and
professionals,
Coping
with
depression/healthy
mind.
Ideal
for
mothers
who
want
to
refresh
their
body
and
mind.

Snacks
SNACKS
is
aimed
at
African-Caribbean
and
South
Asian
parents
and
carers
who
are
concerned
about
their
children’s
and
their
own
health
and
well-being.
The
aim
is
to
prevent
or
reduce
obesity
in
their
family,
focusing
particularly
on
younger
people,
through
encouraging
healthy
eating
and
the
uptake
of
physical
activity,
particularly
as a
family
unit.
